FEP announces the IMO Car Wash acquisition, adding 720 global sites and expanding its multi-unit retail presence.
NEW YORK, NEW YORK, USA / Carwash.com / December 5, 2025 — Franchise Equity Partners, LP (FEP) announced the IMO Car Wash acquisition from Driven Brands (NASDAQ:DRVN). FEP will acquire IMO Car Wash’s full portfolio of 720 locations. These locations span across the United Kingdom, Germany, nine additional European countries and Australia. Additionally, the IMO Carwash acquisition gives FEP an international platform anchored by the world’s largest tunnel carwash business.
FEP expands with IMO Car Wash acquisition
IMO Car Wash began 60 years ago and built one of the most recognized global carwash brands. Furthermore, the company serves millions annually through its convenient, high-volume model and operates a diversified footprint supported by leaders with deep sector expertise.

IMO prepares for growth under new ownership
FEP plans to increase wash volumes, elevate the customer experience and strengthen strategic retail partnerships. In addition, IMO maintains strong ties with retailers across the UK and EU, operating on-site carwashes that increase traffic for both IMO and host partners.
