Kevin Burke / Partner, Restaurants

Kevin is a Partner at FEP focused on the Restaurant vertical. Prior to FEP, Kevin was the founder and Managing Partner of Trinity Capital LLC nation's leading firm in QSR investment banking. At Trinity, Kevin completed over $20 billion in mergers & acquisitions, financial restructurings and financing transactions during his 23-year tenure.

A trained economist (BS, Old Dominion University; MBA, College of William and Mary), Mr. Burke is a popular speaker on a variety of relevant subjects, including the restaurant industry, franchising and the economy (he is an adjunct professor at the Mason School of Business at The College of William & Mary). His restaurant expertise and knowledge make him the go-to source for restaurant industry leadership.

Prior to founding Trinity Capital, Mr. Burke was Executive Vice President of Franchise Mortgage Acceptance Company (Nasdaq: FMAX), where he was responsible for it’s IPO, warehouse financing, securitization, investor relations, loan syndication, and mergers and acquisitions. Mr. Burke was instrumental in developing and broadening the $12 billion national franchise loan securitization market on Wall Street.

Before joining FMAC, Mr. Burke was an investment banker in New York, financing private and public corporations and state and local governments nationwide. He began his career as an investment banker with Dillon, Read & Co. and later joined L.F. Rothschild. Thereafter, he became a Director and Regional Manager for Prudential Securities.

Currently, Mr. Burke sits on the boards of several non-profit, public service and corporate entities.
