James Emch is an Operating Partner at FEP focused on Early Childhood Education.

James joins the team with 30 years of experience of owning and operating nine childcare locations in Phoenix, Arizona. James was a hands-on owner that was passionate about quality and affordability in his programs. He was involved in site selection, building design, general contracting, and hiring of management teams.

Throughout his career, James has served on many professional and community boards, regulatory boards and advisory committees, including Arizona Department of Health services (rules and regulations), Arizona Department of Economic Security (low-income families and at-risk children), First Things First (quality rating system), Boost by Hinge Advisors (financial support for teachers), HarvestCall (missionary organization).

President of the Arizona Child Care Association for 15 years. Where he worked with Lobbyists, Legislators, and Governors promoting statewide quality care for children.

 James is well rounded in his knowledge of early childhood education, and he bring his knowledge and connections to our FEP team.
